The petal beds are made steel that was bent, and have three tiers.
This current bush was being battered, so this was built to protects it.
Though we prefer doing curved constructions, this is a more simple steel trellis, separating where there will be a patio and the house.
A detail from the trellis.

This circular area will be planted with a creeping ground cover. The steel raised it up, allowing for sheet-mulching as opposed to soil removal, and also to keep the ground cover from spreading into the surrounding bed. Rocks are supported by the ring of steel.
In progress photo- the existing pathway was raised to meet the height of the ground cover area, with a piece of slate separating the two. Sheet mulching still to be added in the interior for all the established weeds that were scraped, but still rooted.
A three tiered raised bed of bent steel. It later was filled the rest of the way with soil and planted with strawberries in the lower tiers and vegetables in the top.

A parking strip bed was raised to allow for the addition of more soil without it spilling out, and its undulating edge gives it a more organic, less boxy appearance.

The edging was installed along an existing pathway that had fallen in disrepair, along with the addition of fresh river rock.
A circular pathway was installed around this tree with paths connecting it to the existing patio and beyond. Compost was later added to the bed.
This bed now has an undulating clean edge, keeping the lawn from growing into it, and allows for the addition of compost and mulch in the bed.
